The Office of the Registrar is dedicated to providing efficient services to the college community. We assist students with registration, manage the course catalog, and assist with class scheduling. 

Ordering Transcripts from Ferrum College

To order an official transcript, please follow these steps:

• Visit the National Student Clearinghouse website.
• Search for and select Ferrum College.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to enter your personal information, recipient contact details, and payment information.
• Be sure to have official transcripts sent directly to the final destination.
  • Note: Any transcript sent directly to you is unofficial unless it remains in a sealed, stamped envelope.

Processing and Fees

• Each transcript has a small processing fee (under $10).
• Electronic transcripts are typically processed within 8 hours.
• Paper transcripts are processed twice per week.

Unofficial Transcripts (Current Students Only)

Ferrum College does not provide unofficial transcripts by request. Current students can access their unofficial transcript through Self Service:

• Go to www.ferrum.edu and click Log In.
• Choose Self Service.
• Click the graduation cap icon on the left-hand navigation menu.
• Select Unofficial Transcript.

NOTE: Neither official nor unofficial transcripts will be released automatically if there is an outstanding financial obligation. Please contact student accounts to discuss options, including a temporary removal of the hold.
