TJ Baker is a 2024 graduate of Ferrum College, earning a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre with an additional major in history. Recent theatrical credits include Emmet Otter’s Jug-Band Christmas (Gretchen Fox), Twelfth Night, (co-director), Nunsense (Sister Mary Leo), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Joseph), Macbeth (Macbeth), and Steel Magnolias (Shelby). TJ served the Department of Music and Theatre as an intern with design, performance, directing, and technical responsibilities during 2024-25, and assisted with makeup design for productions of Emmet Otter’s Jug-Band Christmas 2023-25. TJ played the alto saxophone in Bluegrass Brass and served as the road technician for Orchestra Appalachia.
