Hi friends!
My name is Paige Redifer. I graduated from Ferrum College as a Boone Honors Program graduate in 2014 with a BS in Pre-Professional Science and Biology and a minor in chemistry. While at Ferrum, I held leadership positions in the College’s Minds-N- Medicine Club, Lions Branch Club, and the Honors Advisory Council. I also had the privilege to be an Admissions Ambassador and Blogger. With the help of the BHP travel scholarship, I had the opportunity to travel to Zambia, Africa on a medical mission team with Orphan Medical Network International.
Immediately after graduating from Ferrum College, I spent one year working as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Chiropractic Assistant while applying to graduate school. I attended Campbell University’s dual degree program in Buies Creek, North Carolina where I earned the degrees of Master of Science in Public Health and Master of Physician Assistant Practice. After passing the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam, I began practicing as a Nocturnist Hospitalist in New Castle, Indiana in the fall of 2018.
My experiences at Ferrum College enabled me to find my passion for patient care and directly influenced my decision to become a Physician Assistant. I treasure the relationships I built with faculty and fellow students at Ferrum and will be forever grateful for my time at this incredible institution.
I currently live in Indianapolis, Indiana with my significant other and our sweet dog, “Moose.”
Please contact me if I can be of assistance during your journey as a BHP member.
