My name is Samuel Belcher and I am proud not only to be an alumnus of the Boone Honors Program, but also to be a graduate of Ferrum College with a B.A. in Religion. I originate from Floyd, Va., a small town about 40 minutes from campus.
At Ferrum, I was a member of the Lions Club, a member of the Honors Advisory Council, a Young Life leader, and an assistant high school tennis coach at Franklin County High School. Go Eagles!
I became a Young Life leader my sophomore year at Ferrum, and I absolutely love trying to spread the Gospel to the high school students of Franklin County. After graduation, I continued my work with Young Life in Tazewell, Va., along with my wife, Lindsey.
Currently, I live in Troutville, Va., and work for Summit Helicopters, Inc.
